Come Over Rover - Daycamp and so much more!
A day at Come Over Rover
Each day we spend as much time outdoors as the weather allows. This includes hikes, play time in the secured doggy play-area, and on-leash or overhead-lead time exploring around the property.
When the weather keeps us indoors, we play learning-orientated and brain-actvating games and use the two large, open spaces we have to get in some play and exercise.
All pack members receive constant supervision, as well as
one-on-one attention throughout the day. We do our best to find ways to incorporate fun, exercise and learning into all our activities.
At the end of every day, come pet pickup time, the dogs are happy, tired and excited to see mom or dad.
Does your puppy, senior or health-compromised dog require feeding or medication during the day? No problem! We'll ensure your pet gets what he or she needs at the times you request...at no extra charge!
Your pet's health is very important to us, so we'll follow your instructions for administering food or medication to your pet precisely. We are also able to accommodate allergy, health and other dietary restrictions, including the homemade treats we use for training!
Walks & Hikes
Each day our crew spends time working on leash skills as we explore the property, hike through the local forests, or practice road safety walks. Our street and numerous hiking trails are extremely quiet, safe and secluded.
Hikes are on leash or off-leash, according to your discretion and our comfort level with your pet. Alternative arrangements can be made for dogs unable to participate.
Trainer Tara incorporates learning into each and every activity! Our daycare doggies spend time working on everything from basic obedience to correcting behavioural issues using tried and true, force free methods.
While some of the best tools for keeping dogs on their best behaviour are exercise and socialization, we also understand it's important for your dog to have consistent boundaries. This is why we do our best to uphold your house rules in our home! We’ll work with you to ensure the way we interact with your dog works in harmony with your training methods.
We believe that every moment is an opportunity for a dog to learn and grow and we do our best to make it fun and enjoyable for all our visitors. We often trick our pups into training by playing games that are designed to promote good behaviour and confidence.
We’re always more than happy at any time to take a moment to discuss your pet’s behaviour and to find out how we can help with any training goals you may be working towards.
We know that nothing's worse than dropping off a clean dog and picking a mucky one up! That's why our daycare rates include a wipe down or rinse off and towel dry for when your pet happens to get a little dirtier than usual. We have designated indoor and outdoor bath stations and we use all-natural bath products we make in-house.
We can also provide bathing, blowdrying, brushing, and nail trims upon request with some notice. Ask us for details!

Enrolling Your Dog in Daycamp
At Come Over Rover Doggy Daycamp, we don't discriminate against breed, size or age. All dogs are welcome!
Provided there are no aggression issues or safety concerns, we're happy to have puppies and dogs with minor behavioural issues join our crew and have the knowledge and experience to help with on-going training.
Our screening process ensures the protection and well-being of all our furry visitors. Your pet’s health and happiness are our top priorities. Before your dog's first day at Come Over Rover, we'd like to invite you and your pet over for an after-hours informal Meet & Greet to show you around and answer any questions you might have. From there we'll schedule a trial day so we can introduce your Rover to the crew and ensure he's comfortable and happy.
Please note that we require each daycare dog to attend at east one regular day per week. This allows us to keep our groups small and happy, as well as keeps the schedule fair for all our clients.

Unneutered males over the age of six months
Females in heat
Dogs who have or are suspected to have health or behavioural issues that could pose a
